NATURALLIA BUSINESS ALLIANCE FORUM POSTPONED TO NEXT YEAR
Rouyn-Noranda, April 23, 2020 – The members of Naturallia’s Board of Directors announce the postponement of the 6th edition of the Naturallia forum. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic that is raging here as well as around the world, it is unlikely that they will be able to meet the attendance objectives for the activity initially scheduled for September 1-3, 2020, in Val-d’Or.
Uncertainty about the duration, extent and impacts of the pandemic forces the organization to postpone this major economic networking activity until next year, i.e. September 2021. The members of the Board of Directors are very conscious that there will be disappointment among all those who have invested months in planning the activity, and more specifically among all the heads of delegations here and abroad.
As Mr. Lucien Mercier, President of Naturallia, commented the postponement of the forum, “It’s obviously a difficult decision to make, but the conditions are not in place today for Naturallia to take place at the scheduled time. We believe that our institutional and corporate partners, our heads of delegation and all the participating companies will be present next year at this flagship event for our natural resource industries. Our desire to make this edition a success is as strong as ever”.
Mr. Alain Thivierge, Executive Director of Naturallia, added: “We will soon witness a transformation of the economy. Our companies operating in different industrial sectors, as well as our suppliers of goods, equipment and services will have to work together more than ever. To boost the economy, everyone will have to pool their efforts and resources in partnerships and alliances and thus take part in a new cooperative capitalism”.
The organization would like to thank the companies and organizations involved for their support and invites all stakeholders to the Naturallia Business Alliance Forum to be held in September 2021, in Val d’Or.
